COMMUNITY WASTE ACTIONS

ENGAGING COMMUNITIES IS KEY TO ADDRESSING KENYA'S WASTE CRISIS EMERGENCY

Since 2015, Clean Up Kenya has been involved in hundreds of community projects across Kenya. This has involved conducting hundreds of cleanups, recovering tonnes of waste, and closing down dozens of illegal dumpsites.

At the base of our work is honest engagement in communities and not PR or greenwashing events.

These waste actions provide opportunities for volunteers, organizations, and authorities to collaborate in renewing communities and fostering civic pride in clean neighborhoods.

Since 2015, we have had over 20,000 volunteers and hundreds of organizations participate in our projects.
